In keeping with the spirit of our 68th Annual NSA Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for June 28-July 2, 2008, in Indianapolis, Indiana, we would like to invite you into the Winner's Circle (where everyone is a winner)! So, get ready to Race, Rally and Recruit a new member during NSA's 1st Annual Membership Drive.

The National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) provides excellent membership programs, training sessions, and grant programs for every level of leadership within the Office of Sheriff. It is our goal to help our members to be the leaders that their community needs to combat crime, terrorism, school violence, and domestic/elder abuse.
To commemorate our 68th anniversary, NSA is offering special incentives and a chance to win a cash prize of up to $1,068. Every active member who sponsors new members during our 1st Annual Membership Drive has a chance to win. Don't delay! The drive will end on June 21st.
Here's How It Works
You will be entered into the drawing every time that you recruit a new member. The more members you recruit, the better your chance to win. Additionally, in an effort to re-launch our membership recruitment program, the Badge and Star Club, you will automatically become a member of this distinguished club for your recruitment contributions.
The Badge and Star Club has Three Recruitment Levels:
Bronze Level* (Sponsor 1-5 new members)
•Free 1-year NSA membership and $25 VISA gas card.
•Automatic membership in NSA's Badge and Star Club. (Receive a lapel pin, blazer patch and a certificate).
•Recognition at the Annual Meeting and in Sheriff Magazine
*Bronze level recruiters, must recruit at least two (2) members to receive one year-free membership.
Silver Level (Sponsor 6-10 new members)
•Free 1-year NSA membership and $50 VISA gas card.
•Automatic membership in NSA's Badge and Star Club. (Receive a lapel pin, blazer patch and a certificate).
•Recognition at the Annual Meeting and in Sheriff Magazine.
Gold Level (Sponsor over 10 new members)
•Free 1-year membership, $100 VISA gas card and free conference registration (2009 NSA Annual Conference).
•Automatic membership in NSA's Badge and Star Club. (Receive a lapel pin, blazer patch and a certificate).
•Recognition at the Annual Meeting and in Sheriff Magazine.
2008 1st Annual Membership Drive Rules and Information
1. The new members you sponsor MUST use the specially coded membership application. Photocopies and facsimiles will be accepted.
2. To be accepted, applications must be received by close-of-business June 21, 2008.
3. Prizes are not transferable.
4. YOUR NAME MUST appear on each specially coded application to be entered in the drawing!
5. For the purposes of this membership drive competition, a new member is defined as any person that qualifies for NSA membership as:
1. A Sheriff
2. A General Member [e.g., deputies, concerned citizens, agency head etc.]
3. An International Member
6. Every coded membership application (with YOUR NAME) will be entered into the final drawing.
7. Drawing for the Grand Prize Winner, who will receive a check for $1,068, will be held at the General Session, during our annual conference in Indianapolis.
8. You must be present in person to claim your prize.
9. Renewing members do not qualify for this membership drive.
10. Auxiliary/Student Members do not qualify for this promotion.
