The publications and marketing department is responsible for marketing the National Sheriffs' Association to its members and potential new members. This includes handling all printed materials and the association's website.

Publications

Most prominent is the bi-monthly magazine, SheriffSheriff  is for and about the nation's law enforcement and criminal justice professionals. Authoritative articles focusing on best practices, procedures, and research in law enforcement, corrections, and court security are presented to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system. Each issue highlights successful law enforcement programs, NSA activities, professional news, legislative updates, and a calendar of industry events. The magazine reaches sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, police chiefs and police officers, and corrections officials on the federal, state, and local levels.

Deputy and Court Officer
magazine focuses on the needs and wants of deputies and court officers. What is important to a sheriff is not necessarily important to a the deputy and definitely not to the court officer.

The 2009 Sheriffs' Directory is now available. The Sheriffs' Directory provides current information on all the nation's Sheriffs, state sheriff association information, and a new alphabetical listing of all U.S. sheriffs.

The Conference Program contains a complete schedule of events, exhibit hall floor plan, and exhibitor descriptions and booth numbers fro NSA's Annual Conference and Exhibition.

NSA also produces an enewsletter, the NSA Sheriff's Bulletin, each month.  This provides our membership with up-to-date news on issues that concern Sheriffs and their offices as well as other law enforcement.
