The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) today announced the launch of the new Global Policing & Security Initiative, a strategic effort to strengthen homeland security through partnerships with trusted democratic policing organizations around the world. The initiative will help America’s sheriffs identify emerging threats earlier, share operational best practices and enhance preparedness against transnational criminal activity impacting local communities.
