CANTON — An officer at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility has made over 100 masks for inmates and officers at the jail.

Jaidan Lafountain has spent hours and hours making cloth face masks, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff Brooks Bigwarfe.

“In a time of many uncertainties we’d like to take a minute to share some positive news from the correctional facility by recognizing Office Lafountain,” he said.
