Former NSA President and Board Member, Sheriff Dwight Radcliff, Passes

From NSA Executive Director Jonathan Thompson:

Retired Sheriff Radcliff gave generously to his community and his profession.  His personality endeared him to his community for 48 years and 12 terms as Sheriff.  He understood the need to give back and regularly mentored Sheriffs across the Country.  His insights, knowledge and persistence made him one of the Nation’s great law enforcement leaders.  He will be missed at the NSA and by countless hundreds of Sheriffs and deputies that worked with him, or for him.

A husband, leader, father, friend and strong supporter of the NSA for decades, we will miss you.  Our blessings and prayers to Betty and his entire family.

Sheriff Radcliff served as NSA President from 1987-88 and also served on our Board of Directors.
