On March 5, 2018, 31 candidates were admitted to the US Supreme Court Bar. Their candidacy was sponsored by the National Sheriffs' Association. Included among the admittees were two sheriffs: Sheriff Robert Gualtieri (Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, FL) and Sheriff Jim Skinner (Collin County Sheriff's Office, TX).
