COVID-19, the coronavirus pandemic, has single-handedly changed the way people live in Portland and throughout the country. As of today, three more people have died from COVID-19 in Oregon, bringing the state death toll to 130 with 3,286 more confirmed cases. Amid these unprecedented times, the public servants at the Portland Police Bureau and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office have remained steadfast in their duty to protect and serve. As an expression of appreciation for all the courageous work of officers and law enforcement professionals during the current pandemic, the Portland OneCOP Initiative and the national “Supporting the Blue” campaign is hosting this Virtual Prayer and Support Vigil for Portland Law Enforcement.
