The National Law Enforcement Center on Animal Abuse was established to provide law enforcement officers information on the realities of animal abuse, and to promote their proactive involvement in the enforcement of animal abuse laws in their communities.
Triad works to reduce criminal victimization of older persons; improving quality of life for older adults; educating and involving the community in implementing solutions; and enhancing delivery of law enforcement services to the elderly.
NSA is actively involved in dealing with the opioid epidemic. We have several different programs available thanks to funding from various grants.
NSA’s traffic safety department has the duty to perpetuate traffic safety issues, facilitate traffic safety program implementation, provide technical assistance to the office of sheriff and other agencies, and offer general support to the Office of Sheriff and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) staff in developing traffic safety plans that target NHTSA’s national traffic safety priority issues.
