Kalamazoo County Sheriff Department goes digital with "STOPPED" program

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) -- Parents can now keep a better eye on their children as they drive through Kalamazoo County with the updated S.T.O.P.P.E.D. voluntary program.

S.T.O.P.P.E.D. stands for Sheriffs Telling Our Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers which will notify parents via email or text message if their child is ever involved in a traffic stop by a sheriff's deputy.
