National Flag Foundation Sojourn 250
NFF Board Member and retired Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh, along with NSA Deputy Executive Director Tim Woods, participated in the launch of Sojourn 250, a global initiative honoring our nation’s cherished symbol.
On a beautiful June 14th Flag Day in Washington, DC, the Flag Sojourn was launched at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This mission, created by the National Flag Foundation (NFF), will have an American flag tour the world and be presented at America’s 250th birthday in Washington, DC, on July 4, 2026. The flag was presented to the American Battle Monuments Commission and will begin its journey in Europe. In October, the flag will return to the United States and be presented to the National Sheriffs’ Association for its travel throughout the states.
