ICE and Florida sheriffs to make public safety announcement

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials will join sheriffs from several Florida counties, as well as representatives from the National Sheriffs’ Association and the Major County Sheriffs of America, to announce new efforts to enhance public safety.

ICE enforces federal immigration laws as part of its homeland security mission, and the agency works closely with federal, state and local law enforcement partners in this mission.
