Seminar:  The Reality of Border Security

Saturday, February 8 - 8:00am - 9:00am
Description:  The purpose of this presentation is to provide a rational and fact-based review of security on our southern border from a public safety and public policy standpoint. The presentation will include photos of the actual border and examples of human and drug trafficking. This should be both educational and informative for those sheriffs who have not visited the border. There will be ample time for Q&A.  Finally, this should enlighten sheriffs with respect to how conditions on the border have public safety impacts in their respective counties.
Presenter:  Sheriff Mark Napier, Pima County, Tucson, AZ
Room:  Justice (M Level)
Track: Homeland Security
